Miniopterus é um gênero de morcegos da família Miniopteridae. Estava classificado na subfamília Miniopterinae dentro de Vespertilionidae,[1] entretanto, estudos moleculares demonstraram que o grupo é distinto o suficiente para ser considerado uma família distinta.[2]
